Hidden in Plain Sight: The Untapped Potential of Written Assessment Comments; Thursday, June 21, 2018; 12:00 noon – 1:00 p.m., Auditorium, Claude Moore Medical Education Building.  Presented by Shiphra Ginsburg, MD, MEd, PhD, FRCPC, Professor, Department of Medicine (Respirology); Scientist, Wilson Centre for Research in Education, University of Toronto. This session will focus on enhancing narrative evaluation of medical students’ clinical performance across the curriculum. By the end of the session, learners will discuss the value of written assessment comments; list the complexities involved in analyzing language; describe their own use of assessment language in a new way. (1 CME credit)
