Preparing Teaching Portfolios for Evaluation and Promotion

Description/Learning Objectives: This workshop will describe the preparation of the teaching portfolio for P&T purposes, as well as for evaluation purposes. Participants will have an opportunity to review sample teaching portfolios and begin preparing their own portfolios. Upon completion of this session, participants will be able to describe how to prepare a teaching portfolio; integrate the aims of a teaching portfolio with personal academic goals and needs; and discuss the usefulness of a teaching portfolio for professional development. (2 CME credits)
