Departmental Action Plans

  1. Engage junior faculty in leadership opportunities with the department/division
  2. Nominate faculty for leadership opportunities and committees within the School of Medicine
  3. Form Shared Governance Program to allow faculty and staff to voice their issues in small focus groups
  4. Hold monthly departmental faculty meetings to engage faculty in department governance discussions
  5. Schedule one-on-one meetings with department chair and faculty, postdocs, and students to gather ideas to improve the department
  6. Hold an annual departmental retreat
